These terms govern use of the NX1 browser extension and web app (together “the service”), provided by Shio Ventures GmbH.

2. The service

The service is a personalized new tab with areas, search, news and optional AI features. It is free to use. Individual features may be subject to a daily allowance or may evolve, be removed or change.

3. No account, your responsibility

The service needs no account. If you enable device sync, the secret code created is also your recovery key. Keep it safe — losing all paired devices means the synced data can no longer be accessed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, in particular not to circumvent protections, run automated bulk use of the AI features, or process unlawful content.

5. Third-party content

The service shows links, news and images from third-party sources, for whose content and availability the respective provider is responsible. Brand and game names belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

6. AI features

AI-assisted hints (e.g. topic suggestions, screenshot help) may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not binding advice. Verify important results yourself.

7. Warranty and liability
